Confirming a page is still right
Every page carries the date somebody last said it was still right.
The date is shown wherever the page is quoted, so the person reading an answer can judge it.
Confirming is one act and changes nothing else. It says the words are still true today.
A manual nobody confirms slowly becomes a manual nobody trusts.
