Looking after a piece

customers can read this

The page, as it was written

  1. Cold wash, inside out, on its own the first time. Nothing we make goes in a hot machine.
  2. Never tumble dry it. Dry it flat and in the shade — the sun is what takes the colour, not the wash.
  3. Rinse salt and chlorine out the same day. Left in, they do exactly the fading the care label warns about.
  4. No bleach and no softener. Softener is what flattens the weave on the linen, and it does not come back.

Maria’s own words, in Maria’s own order. Training quotes the page; it never rewrites it.

The check is one worked example in this walk-through

Every lesson takes the page away and asks you to answer it from memory. These are flat pages with nothing to answer into, so one check is walkable here rather than one picture of a check on every page — take it on “Checking in at an account”.

Every version of this page

  1. v28 May 2026Maria added rinsing the same day, after the chlorine claims in April.
  2. v127 Nov 2025The care label written out in full, so nobody has to go and find the label.
