Act B · The firm
A claim, firm side
Received, inspected, verdict, wait, shipped — and the line the customer will read, being written
Claim 4482 · seam failure, ladies’ one-piece
Filed by Marisol Vega at Marisol’s Beachwear on 9 August. James Tate has it against the dye-lot record.
Plain words. This is the only thing she gets, so it is written by a person and never generated.
“Covered. A replacement is going out from the next run — with you by 29 August. You do not need to send the original back.”
What to notice in this drawing
The whole promise of the programme is that a person can watch a wait instead of chasing it. That only works if somebody at the firm writes one line — so the store refuses to publish a blank one.
Next you’ll be on Marisol’s screen instead of your own — the same claim, from the outside, with the line you just wrote on it.
Watching the claimThat’s the firm’s whole side — writing it down, publishing it, opening a door onto it, and dealing with what comes back through the door.
